Switch axe discussion
Hi there, I just finished high rank and before starting the jewel grind I wanted to pick the most suitable swax for me
I know that in the end it is better to just use elemental swaxes but for now gorehacker seems like a good general option to start with but again I don't know how good or bad MV for elementless axe mode is
Because last time when I switched from Barina Hache 4 to Windsunder 3 my dmg almost doubled even against the monsters that are supposed to be resistant to ice and so judging from this expirience going for anything that is not elemental swax with elemental phials is a waste of time
however I hope that I'm wrong here and gorehacker is a good swax
So what do you recommend?

Well it has dragon right?(or is that the other guardian swaxe?) It's a good fallback element.

it has dragon phials alongside with elementless base with 875 raw

paralyze or blast for general use or element for specific mob if u really want to minmax i guess

I also didn't find any blast or sleep axes in a main tree
so I have to ask is the new random crafting thing the only way to get those types of swaxes?

Kind of hard for me to get in right now but after high rank unlocks, I think there's a boom swaxe at the bottom. Need to scroll though.

prolly those have an advantage in that u can upgrade and roll for affixes like the old safi weapons
