AMD ERROR SOLUTION
To anyone having this error Fatal D3D error (25, DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG, 0x887a0006) , it took me 2 whole days since saturday to fix this error. And many youtube tutorials. First of all dont update amd drivers to 25.2.1 version( even if its says is the version that supports MH WILDS ), stay on 24.12.1, undo any overclock your GPU AND CPU HAS and the most important part, enter adrenaline and make a new load profile, reduce your GPU MAX PERFORMANCE to 80-85-90% you have to find your crash point, Basically by reasons im not aware of at high clock speeds in these drivers and this unoptimazed crap of a game , if your amd gpu gives it full power it will just crash.

my current system is : Ryzen 9 5900X 12 core
GPU: AMD 6900XT
32GB of ram.

I even unistalled windows and did all possible things in mind until some yt channel pointed out AMD cards crash on this game if going onto full load.

My game now works perfectly , you can even turn on in adrenaline anti lag and frame generation, not the in game one but the amd adrenaline option.

sadly the case for my 7600
It doesnt make any difference, Uth Duna will crash you as soon as you start the fight
with Ryzen 7 5800X 3D CPU
I don't think this is the solution.
I'm running on 25.2.1 (which is generally ok, except adrenalin casually dying and refusing to open). GPU OC on. Game runs stable on 1440p, Ultra, RT Max, HD Pack installed, no frame gen.

However, make sure you don't have super resolution on in adrenalin, it did mess up my game that it even grayed out settings that I couldn't change.

And make sure you have an up to date BIOS for your MoBo/ CPU. The game seems to be CPU heavy as well (due to constantly checking with their own drm)

i have the same GPU as you and it runs fine on 25.2.1. Are you sure its not an issue with some of your settings and maybe outdated chipset driver?

Im debating upgrading to 25.2.1 the comments and op is definitely making me question what the best choice is? Dont want to waste the time if it just crashes more.

6700 xt ryzen 5 5600 32 gb ram, 24.12.1. based on those specs if it would be better to stay for now or try the optional.
same problem here. game randomly crashes, even in menu. sometimes after 5 hours of play, sometimes after 10 minutes.

havent found a fix yet. no GPU or CPU overclocking active. game and steam running in admin mode and all drivers are up to date including bios and windows

im on 64gb ram, RX6900XT and windows 10, i7-10700k
