I know it drops from Vespoids and im in the wylk area but the respawn timer for them seems to be quite long, whats the optimal way to get this? (i dont have access to botanist thing yet)

That stuff is dropping like tons from the Nerscylla babys :D
Can use vespoids, there are quite a few in the forest, too.

Spider babies carve for 1 fluid each, use the entomologist skill to preserve more of them

Go to optional quests and fight the low rank spider

Nercilla's babies drop tons of them.

Yeah go fight Nerscylla in your optional quests, and when it flees to it's nest you'll have LOTS of little spideys to obliterate and acquire fluid from.
