I just play HBG so I'm constantly in that mode to see them, some multiplayer groups they are 100% of the time covered in red wound icons - sometimes they are not
What causes them?
Yeah, it's not even funny at this point. I feel like every monster I am facing is a baby-infant version of the monster, mostly helpless and begging to stop bullying it. How did they miss the mark though?
Monster Hunter is about... well hunting bit terrifying monsters. I'd imagine nailing this should be the focus, core part of the development. And yet...
That's why it's easy and boring.
- New game comes out
- "WAAAAH IT'S TOO EASY!!!! WTF THE OLD GAME WAS WAY HARDER THAN THIS!!!"
- The actually hard content gets added later.
- "WAAAAH WTF THE GAME IS TOO HARD NERF SEETHING BAZEL"
- New game comes out
- "WAAAAH IT'S TOO EASY!!!! WTF THE OLD GAME WAS WAY HARDER THAN THIS!!!"
- Repeat forever
Explain to me in detail how you plan to "gatekeep" somebody out of playing a computer game.
Like what the ♥♥♥♥ are you going to do? What actual actions are you going to take besides malding and whining on the internet to actually stop somebody from playing a game?
Tell me.
Edit: Lmao he deleted his post instead of answer me
I will say it's a bit on the easier side compared to some previous games but that's simply because it controls a lot more fluidly and you have more options in combat now. Most of Monster Hunter's difficulty in the past was tied in to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls people convinced themselves were intentionally bad for difficulty purposes and systems that were made extremely tedious and broke pacing constantly.
With things as fast and fluid as they are now, the game just plays smoother and as a result monsters are bit easier to deal with.
I'm very excited for title update drops and when the actual threats start showing up, all the new systems are going to make those fights insane.
