The Blonde blacksmith (Gemma) is over sexualised

I'm not sure why the blonde blacksmith in the game has to look like an adult film star, there was the same issue in FF15 i believe with the mechanic. You'll never see women like this in day to day life and the other women in the game look normal. I don't get this characters place in this game and setting and I likely won't be letting my teenage son play it now with the sexualised content...

It doesnt really have anything to do with her looks or her outfit.

What it is that makes you see this is capcom. Just watch, every time she appears or enters the scene, it will slow pan the camera from her crotch over her stomach to her boobs then the camera will move out once it gets to her face.

the kojima styled camera shots. Capcom does some puritanical stance but they do this at the same time. "dont put sexy stuff in our games!" *purposefully puts a weird camera obsession with this chick.*

if it wasnt for the camera doing that ever time with her, youd look at her and think as little of it as anything else.

Think you're looking too deep into it because she's in a LOT of the game and that just isn't the case. It's really no different than any other character.

I don't personally think she's QUITE that sexualized, but she is absolutely in a skimpier outfit than anyone else in the game, so it stands out quite a lot. On the flipside, it means it's not like, the norm for the designs in the game, which if you're worried about the effect on your son... I think one kinda standout skimpy in as varied a cast as this is absolutely fine. That's just me.

Oh my god! ONE character is "oversexualized". Even when it's five of them, it doesn't matter. Because there are so many tastes represented. There's Alma, the "normal" one. And even she is pretty. There's Olivia, she's more the masculine one. There's Erik, more a feminine guy. And there's Nata, he's a boy, looks pretty feminine for me, but he's a child. That's normal. So there's more than a right for Gemma to be as a pretty sexy equipment smith.
