Game Wont even boot up now

I managed to get through some of the tutorial yesterday and saved the game, today i tried playing the game and did for a minute before it powered my whole computer down, and now i am just met with a black screen and a crash report, ive tried checking my files and other basic things like reinstalling but it still crashes is anyone else having similar problems if so how do did you fix it?

I might suggest requesting a refund if you've played it for less than 2 hours, Capcom is not committing to any technical support or performance updates.

A full powerdown could be a lot of things but my bet would be on your RAM (not VRAM). I had a bad RAM stick and it was causing this exact problem when anything tried to write there.

In the meantime, if you're getting a blackscreen and crash, I'd probably start by deleting your shader cache (shader.cache2) and config.ini files in %STEAM%\steamapps\common\MonsterHunterWilds and see if that fixes it (you will have to recompile the shaders so the launch will take time).

Hey thanks i made sure my RAM was good and tried the second thing you said and it seems to work fine now, i appreciate the help a ton man was about to refund the game :)
