Palico Genders?
Is the genders of the Palicos locked or something? I wanted to have my Palico female but they has a male voice. And then I noticed my friend has a Palico with a female voice. Both of our voice is default. Is It locked to which gender we choice to play as? I play female and have a male Palico. My friend plays male and has a female Palico.

Hmmm. I'm not sure, actually. I'm femme and have a femme palico. I never even considered it because I got what I wanted anyway. So its definitely possible.

You have to change the voice in character creation which means if you started the game you might have to use the edit voucher (one is free). There seems to be only 2 voices and both sound like they're voiced by women, but one is a "boy" voice and with higher pitch it would also sound female.
palico have no gender, they are genderless :)

Voice 2 definitely seems to be male but voice 1 also sounds pretty ambiguous, could be female or male, it just sounds like a child.

You can change it later in the game, but you must be in the Game menu screen select your save then press G can edit your Palico
Beware that it will consume your Palico editing Voucher :awkward:

Just use the Palico language..... they always just "Miaued" and had their own language.

Everything else would be blasphemy to every true Monster Hunter player that is playing since the good old Ps2 times.
I didn't even realise the voices were gendered because.... well... I have Palico language active, because Palicos speaking people-language is cursed as hell.
