Wifi Disconnection Issues
Has anyone else had their game messing with their wifi connection? Whenever I have the game on, it disconnects my whole computer from the wifi. Its been getting pretty frustrating, I also can't connect to servers and get crashes. Are there any solutions out there yet?

The game will not interfere with your wifi. Your router isn't just going to turn off and on, and the game doesn't have access to your OS' settings.

Under normal circumstances. At one point on a much older computer I was having to use a non-standard network card and transmitter/receiver, and if I was playing anything particularly intensive, it would sometimes interrupt power to the network card, causing me to get disconnected.
Check your power supply and network card. On a modernish PC, cleaning it might actually just solve the issue entirely. It's hard to go to 'does it work with other games' because of how bad Wilds' PC optimization, but it's worth checking out. Find another recent game, crank the settings up as high as they go, and see if you can replicate the issue. If you can't, then it's not your power supply or network card.

You're looking at it the wrong way round. The wifi disconnects will cause problems with the game, the game will not cause wifi disconnects.
Nope, agree with OP. My wifi is perfectly fine all day long until I run this game and suddenly it disconnects for a few seconds at a time, kicking me out of the session.

Are you sure it's actually your wifi going offline or are you just getting disconnected from Wilds?
This has been happening in our home too! My husband and I are trying to play together and our Wifi constantly disconnects. We will stop playing, watch a movie, eat dinner and he even made a comment "of course the Wifi would be perfect now that we aren't playing". I agree with OP.

Can you hard wire PC(s) to router and see if you get the same issue?

So it's not that your wifi has been disconnected, but that Wilds' servers are bad. Different problem than OP.

I am hard wired and it happens.

What I did was disable Windows Defender Firewall last night and it worked. At first I tried just allowing the game through the firewall, but discovered it already was allowed. Turning it off completely I had no issues the rest of the night.

If anyone has any ideas what I could do other than disabling it altogether, let me know. As I said, it's already allowed through and I'm not sure what else I could do.

Yes, I am sure my connection drops entirely because on my second monitor I can see that steam and discord will also disconnect.

This happened to me too. Despite what people are trying to convince you of, my wifi connection (not the modem, not getting booted from the online game servers) just shuts off and I get a sudden terrible audio bug. And I checked other devices - everything else is connected still and works fine.

I have to restart which immediately fixes the issue. No other game causes this and it’s been fine until today’s update for me.
Coming in to say the same issue is happening with me and restarting does not fix it. It's definitely JUST wilds as there are 10 other devices whose internet is not affected in my home. Also as soon as I close wilds the internet comes back.
Joining in to say I’m having the exact same issue. Game worked perfectly fine with no issues then I booted up the game on March 5th after work and the game will just shut off internet completely. I have attempted to update drivers (cpu, gpu, network), I have verified the integrity of the game, and just resetting my computer doesn’t work as well.

The minute the game attempts to connect to the servers is when the issues start, and as soon as I close the game, internet is back like nothing happened. No other game on my pc is causing this issue. Really frustrating to deal with this

Also came here to say this. Spent 10 of the 16 hours played offline because of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Hoping for a refund or a fix.
