Hammer thoughts?
Im torn between liking the new combos and missing world, the old way you could double charge attacks into the big bang. Something feels awkward about the wilds hammer, maybe its just my lack of muscle memory. Every other weapon feels amazing though especially insect glaive.

i actually really like wilds hammer so far, the only part im having trouble with is setting off the offset attack(holding the upswing to time with monster attack) being able to rope dodge while charging has been extremely useful for tougher fights and closing distance. I do miss the old big bang too though, and kinda wish we had it like rise where we can switch movesets between worlds big bang;power charge and this games brutal spin attack, theyre both good.

we got left behind

theres no reason to touch big bang anymore, u cant dodge out of it once u start and upswing combo has offset and then the mighty charge

my circle button is pointless except for spinning moves
water strike mighta been a better offset it made for much better combo variety in rise

i do like the offset, almost only ever hit it by accident, but ive found 3 moves with it, the main combo upswing, the spin into upswing, and the full charge jump attack into upswing
dont think its on the charged or mighty charged upswings, that would be ideal though

slopes arent reliable so that kinda nullifies the air spin jump
mount attack is fun

wild hammer is so far below rise/break, was near perfect
tied with iceborne for me

its kinda dull but its still a hammer
yeah they really need to buff big bang
