How to charge the axe on the Charge Blade?

I know I charge the shield with R2 + circle + hold circle.

I charge the sword with R2 + circle + hold triangle.

How do I charge the axe. I accidentally charged it while trying to give an Elemental discharge. So I was guessing it would be something R2 + circle + triangle and circle hold. But its not.

How do I do this? Im lost and having trouble to find this on the internet.

You can only charge the ax in a few ways
One way is to get a perfect block and then hit triangle

Another way is to mount the monster and end with r1

And the last way is to use the focus attack on a wound

with basic attacks is enough? Or does it only count with elemental discharge?
