AFMF 2 not compatible with game's display mode
I press the hotkey to turn it on and I get the message, same with trying to turn it on in Adrenalin; I want to try AFMF 2 to see if there's less ghosting than with FSR 3 plus I'd rather use no upscaling/AA in the settings. Anyone know of a fix?

7900XTX AFMF2 works for me just fine with both FSR3 (Frame gen off) and XESS. Do you have GPU Scheduling disabled in Windows or something like Fullscreen Optimizations disabled in your registry?

Should these be on or off? I've tried both enabled and disabled for the fullscreen optimization setting in the properties for the Wilds exe

My bad on the delay, both should be on. Have you tried playing with the newest driver released a couple days ago? Even AFMF2.1 works for me in MHWi and it works with FSR3.1 enabled now too (or at least when AFMF2.1 is set to auto it might be turning off automatically instead of detonating my PC, no real way to tell)

It kinda just started working randomly lol; maybe it was a game or driver update, thanks for your responses though
