Shhhh, logic is absent with these kinds of people. If the game had 10 million players but it dropped to 9.9 million they'd be screeching it's dying.
I've been post-post end game for a while now and I'm only at 30hrs with some afk times (mostly to ♥♥♥♥ talk friends who are dying on bosses, won't lie).
As an experienced MH player I was averaging 5-15 minutes kills per boss (HR Jin Dahaad and Gore Magala were more like 20-25, admittedly, I was derping hard for those fights), that drastically reduces the time needed to complete content.
Well. No.
Monster Hunter may not be the hardest game there is, that's true. But there is difference between them not being hard and becoming a farmfest where gear does not even matter unless you aim to kill everything in 3 minutes. With mid tier armor and weapon you murder anything in around 7 minutes. Few notable exceptions may take a bit longer.
It feels not even like a issue of gear and monster stats balance but new focus mod that allows you to adjust for monster movement, making every hit land while also avoiding majority of the attacks.
Sure, at some point in any Monster Hunter challenge disappears, but here there was no challenge to begin with, so any gear progression is not meant as a means of overcoming a challenge or making hard fight easier, but to speed up the farming of God-hunter. At this point they can even remove most of usable items, since for the most part there is no need to use them anymore.
So sure. If you want game to die in 2 weeks, lets pretend that it's fine balanced game since in 2 weeks it'll be empty as people won't have anything to do.
As amazing as the Wilds is, with everything that it has to offer it admittedly did not nail one part of the design, and honestly? This may be the most important part in the long run.
Only like 2 things now to do in Wilds ^^
Games aren't meant to be played like there isn't more to life. Relax, go play something else or maybe just do something else entirely. This is coming from someone who plays games like there isn't more to life lol.
They'll add more over time but they often go from meh to yay eventually.
World was meh, Rise was meh then the updates/G Ranks came out for both and all was good.
Though Rise was an acquired taste for a good few still.
Memories of endgame in vanilla Rise being farming Narwa over and over for absurdly low % at the god charm.
Welcome to endgames in MH.
