End Game: That’s It?
Just hit the 30 hour mark, at 50 HR, and the end game is farming tempered Arkveld. Is this seriously enjoying for people? Where’s the variety? Why aren’t all the monsters able to be tier/level 8?

I have maybe another 10 hours in me before this becomes unbearable.

Yep that's it, Grind your R8 sets and then roll the crafted weapon with RNG attached to it then chase stats and get those kill times down.

took me 16hrs to get to HR then finished then casually grinded everything out until i decided to finish the game. now i'm just goofing off with friends when i get a chance.

i think World was in a similar state when released what was it? Xeno? was the current end all be all until i think Kulve tarroth came out later for "raids" or some thing to that extent.

They gave us what world kinda had in the beginning but the Health value is lower for monsters in the MSQ in wilds for some weird reason that and getting free damage from Wounds just makes it go quicker if your experienced already. So fights that should take 7-15mins+ are 3-7mins fight give or take maybe lil less or more.
This isn't the end game they already made a announcement for the monster additions stronger than the current tempered monsters.

this is how all the modern games have been. We will keep getting title updates that will add more monsters and higher tiers and stuff.

Its why rushing end game is a noob strat. Take your time in the first month or so playing because we won't get anything new for a bit and even then it will be drip fed for a while until the DLC drop.

Rushing in monster hunter before G rank comes around is a quick way to have nothing to do (also at 30 hours theres no way you unlocked everything in the side quests so go do those).

personally i spend this time pre G rank making a set for every Hunting horn in the game and spend time testing things for when G rank comes out in like year or something. (with the tempered system of weapons i'll have alot more horns to make and test which is neat)

Its the period of time where you either walk away for a while after doing what you wanted to, or make your own fun

It's because the model of releasing content throughout the life cycle of a game is PROFITABLE and it WORKS.

If they just dump all the content at once and consider it project complete they'd make way less money.

Why throw money into a pit and keep a project hidden when a product is enjoyable and playable? You can continually generate more "hype" periods with content patches that get excited people to come back.

There is a type of gamer like the OP (Doesn't leave house often, binges 12 hour sessions, tries to rush to end game as fast as possible, hits max level 3 days after release)

Then there are a majority that are HR 4, have played a few sessions, watch the cut scenes, explore around and check stuff out.

Not every game needs to be an MMO style game with endless content that you can play as a 2nd life.
base mhw had xeno as the final boss of high rank, wilds feels incomplete like rise when it was released during the pandemic.
I'm at 30 hour mark right now. And I'm only HR 6.

I'm kind of you know, enjoying the game, and playing it how MH games are meant to be played with the constant loop of farming monsters, making gear, etc, etc.

It's your own fault if you're using one type of weapon, thinking one set of armor based on the defensive traits is what the game is about.

Tell you what. Much like Iceborne, this game is going to be a real challenge for players like you, who thought they could just get by with "beeg damage" on a weapon, and "beeg defense" on armor.

Those of us however, who have properly prepared, crafted everything there is to craft, and combo'd different armor, and weapons using deco's, and not solely focusing on attack, and defense numbers, are going to continue to find Monster Hunter Wilds, not to be a problem in the future, where I'm assuming the people who rushed, using one weapon, and weapon armor type are going to cry "New content too hard!" day 1, when it is released.

But hey, you're money, you play how you want. You just don't get to be one of those people who cry about hard content later on, because it'll be your own damned fault.

It's adorable how you try to attack me, for playing a new game over the weekend. Which was beat less than 10 hours into the game, and highest level boss beat after an additional 5 hours. 15 hours of content until your at the "hardest" boss is ludicrous.

Yall defending this nonsense is wild, but hey, go slay those monsters, queen.

There's absolutely no world that you're at the 30 hour mark at HR 6.... What the ♥♥♥♥ have you been doing? AFK at camp?

You finished and devoured the game in 50 hours? Considering most games these days, I think you got your money's worth. What are you crying about?
30 hours. I wouldnt be here if I got my moneys worth, which would be 70 hours. I won't be making it to 50 hours, or anywhere near it, because this game has no end game.

99% of the games you own don't have continuous new content for 70 hours, but somehow it's only an issue with this game.

Even if the game was $30 you people would still complain, so don't come at me with the price being the issue (even though $70+ is truly ridiculous).

I dont think anyone expect most of player base to reach that far . i am 30 hours in i am just level 21 HR i explore world i collect stuff i fight what i want and progress main quest for story act 4-5 when i feel like it .

if you just play one weapon and collect one armor then i assume game is over for you . most people prob want to master many weapons and collect alot of things. i expect some content prob in few weeks times

Gently, not everyone is going to achieve quick kill speeds on every monster. I suspect you were in my ball park (5-15 minutes). One of my friends are like 20-40 minutes per boss, that drastically increases play time, let alone then wandering around doing nothing.

i assume its monday and most people go to work school and cant play . ya natural drop of players will happen. its funny how everyone like to doom . tbh i assume bick chunk of players willl finish story mode and leave until next DLC
Excuse me if my reductionist is showing. but isn't that all monster hunter has ever been?

Stop rushing a newly released game and go outside and touch some grass once in awhile, zoomer. If you get to endgame in less than three days after release, that's on you for no-lifeing the game. In other words, get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ life.

I actually went outside and touched literal grass a few times over the weekend. That doesn't excuse a poorly made game. 10 hours of story missions, and then 5 hours until you're in the end game. 15 hours. thats all it took. If it takes you longer, you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck at video games.

Wtf like I farmed the game this weekend, managed to get 40hours in and I'm not yet done with the HR missions, How did you ended up at the very end without skipping things x'D
Most of my friends put at least 30hours+ to finish the Low rank, don't expect MHW+DLC level of content right away

Also I think bas MH world game was kinda the same, Iceborn really added a lot of content, and like other said it's been kinda the same for the older games, but there's plenty of stuff to do like fishing is way better you've a lot of hidden things to find, finding the endemic life too, and just appreciating the different maps
