Here's the real deal. DD2 actually did get patched and runs pretty great right now. I know because I was just playing it on Steam a couple weeks ago, again. Great game. However, THIS game, MH Wilds, is abysmal. It's disgusting anyone at Capcom thought that this game was in a serviceable state. It's gross. It's demeaning to gamers and buyers alike. The RE Engine BLOWS chunks. It's probably the absolute worst gaming engine in existence right now. I can't think of any other gaming engines that are so hard to work with, require constant maintenance and continually have a terrible time with games made with it. No other engine, Unreal, Infinity, Unity, CryEngine, The Snowdrop Engine, the White Engine, etc. NONE of them suck as much as the RE Engine does.
Here's the real deal part 2. MH Wilds uses texture overlays for simulations (cloth, hair, leather, etc) It is absolutely DESTROYING our frames because it isn't optimized to do such work. The previous game, MH World, used the MT Framework engine and it worked pretty good. NONE of the issues the RE Engine has. However, Rise used the RE Engine also but they had it so narrowed down to put it on the Switch that it was hard to tell. Still, that Engine had so many issues and they STILL, to this day, have NOT fixed all the problems in Rise. Devil May Cry 5 and Street Fighter 6 used the same RE Engine and, man, those games absolutely show the disaster that is the RE Engine in use.
Here's the real deal part 3. The RE Engine is also called the "Reach for the Moon Engine". That's absolutely hilarious to me. Like, you just can't Capcom so please stop.
