Hunter hunts monster threatening ecosystem to find out it's actually a bigger scarier monster that's the real culprit then hunts them.

it would literally be the exact same as what monster hunter stories are now except instead of having a somewhat respectable motive it's just "i want to kill animals".

Nobody cares about a story in Monsterhunter, that's not the focus anyway.
It was never a story driven game since the 1st game
