Monster Hunter Wilds

İstatistiklere Bak:
Finally fainted for the first time!
And it was due to a mistake pressing the wrong key *sigh* fighting a certain fire monstrosity with lots of legs, anyway, I have heard people saying that every single Monster Hunter is really easy at the beginning but this easy? Like wow, I remember fainted like 40 times or more in MH World before I even reach high rank and now I'm destroying everything MH Wilds throws at me... It may be an embarrassing saying this but I never got to finish Iceborne and is because I cannot defeat Barioth, yup never even make it to Tigrex because Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is a very, very challenging game with an amazing sense of achievement once you over come it's monsters, I cannot say the same about MH Wilds at the moment sadly.

Worlds wasn't hard, you just sucked and now you suck less.
World was many times harder than wilds. Wilds also has less customization. Wilds is World---
I recently went back to world to play through low and high rank the way it's supposed to, since the first time around I fell into the defender trap, after beating Risebreak as well, I never carted until nergi and never failed a quest until viper tobi. So no, comparatively to wilds World is not really any harder, clunkier for sure, you were expecting an anjanath type wall in low rank? Go do Anjanath in World right now see if you even cart once.

Anjanath and kirin gated people hard in MHWorld.
You are correct, Monster Hunter games are always easy in the beginning. World was no exception, the same flak Wilds is getting now is the same flak World got on release.

People used to complain about how World was a "dumbed down" monster hunter game and it was way too easy, among many other complaints (Like The Handler, or unskippable cutscenes, etc)

MH games don't tend to get hard until after the expansion hits that adds Master Rank.

Probably the new players World generated yea. Which just skews the communities perception of 'hard' in Monster Hunter.

that is not true. MODERN monster hunter games are not hard until G-Rank. the older ones were.

Wasnt Extreme Behemoth in Worlds on release hailed as like one of the hardest, most mechanical boss in Monster hunter on its release? that was before G-Rank

no, it wasn't there on release. it came later with an update.
also, it was only hard because the fight was not designed for a monster hunter game, it was designed for an MMO.
Imo the difficulty spikes quite a bit towards the end of the HR main quest (chapter 6)

True to some extent, I don't think MH4U was particularly hard in the beginning since they introduced mounting. MH3U's was only hard cuz underwater combat was janky.

But MH2 and the OG game were insanely hard right from the start.

A few thoughts on your statement:

-Early game difficulty varies across the series, and Wilds may indeed have a more gradual difficulty curve. This could be intentional to welcome new players to the franchise.

-Your prior experience with Monster Hunter World likely contributes to your success in Wilds. The skills you developed (even if you didn't complete Iceborne) have transferred to the new game.

-Different players have different experiences with difficulty. Barioth in Iceborne was indeed a notorious wall for many hunters! It required adapting to a significantly faster and more aggressive monster compared to base World.

-Monster Hunter games typically ramp up in difficulty as you progress through Low Rank to High Rank and then to Master/G Rank. The challenging endgame content might still be waiting for you.

-Each game in the series has made various quality-of-life improvements that might contribute to a smoother early experience.

The real challenge starts end game though.

Have fun!

HR Jin Dahaad. But yeah. Feels easier than World.

Yeah I was about to say, this is the only fight that took my bf and I a long, long time. He's very sub-optimal to hit in most places, and he's almost too large of a hitbox there's so much running around to get to correct hit spots to attack him at. Also, his super move mechanics are stupid and waste a ton of time. And he feels a bit more spongey than most monsters, very spongey.
