Why would they cut off the best content out of the game?

We all know the food dev in monster hunter is insane, and there is no better cooking and food animation than MH in any game out there. Yet literally the director of the game said "let's cut off the best content of the whole gaming in history from our newest MH game" I'm sorry for what reason exactly? Why would you cut off that content from the game, that's literally -4 points out of 10. Why would anyone do that is there any logical reason?

It's Monster Hunter, not Monster's Kitchen.
They focus on what's important. The cooking sure is nice, but it's not the reason anyone plays the series.

I might change my mind once the game allows me to hold a Rathalos head between two slices of bread and scream insults at it, but for now: correct decision.

Finally a complaint I can get behind. The few cooking and eating cutscenes we get are amazing, but we need more.

They gutted that too. Now you have full time GPS and a taxi directly to the monster.

rise was just dongo. world had a few different ones depending if you had the cats cook or the handler but after seeing it a few times, you just skip it anyways. they went the extra mile this game because you have 4 different villagers who ask to cook for you, one for cooking your own meal and one for grilling stakes.

TU1 is going to bring a Gathering Hub with canteen. Hopefully we'll get some cats cooking in there!
