Fire a screamer pod

at the very first mission, i cant fire the screamer pod, it say its the middle button, or middle wheeler button on my mouse but it doesnt work, and it's no use changing it. any button i used for it does nothing.... so im stuck here.... if you have 3 button mouse you just cant play

If it's the Balahara sequence, you don't need to do it I think? It's just set piece. If you can maybe change for controller. Also with Slinger you need to aim and Shoot at same time

YES, ITS THE FIRST mission, when Balahara suck the girl inside, and the game orders me to shoot a screamer pod, but i cant. and it doesnt matter if i change the keyboard settings, stil not working. with 3 button mouse its not working

Did you snatch a screamer pod from the flying dino? You dont start with any pods, you need to collect them first.

NVM if you change the interact to a different button but on press instead of hold it works

press Alt first to go into aiming mode then hit middle mouse button.

yes, need to change in the seeting/keyboard layout in BOTH melee and range menu

This bug led me to having to fight 3 flying noodles at once in the underground as part of the story since I literally couldn't fire the pods. I still have no idea what focus mode does since I can't use it :shrug:

If you don't have a multi-button mouse(more than LMB, RMB, and MMB) then you'll have to set an alternate key. As other have mentioned, do this for BOTH Melee and Ranged. It's annoying but just the way it be.

Did you load the screamer pod onto that thingy on your arm? You can fire it only after you do that. You have to select it from your inventory and then it's ready for use. Then you can aim and fire it.
