Am I tripping over 130 gigs of storage?
I tried playing Wilds Sunday morning but got an error when trying to run that there wasn't enough storage in my SSD. The game was only 75 and I had another 20 gigs open, so I thought it was a game issue. When I uninstalled it to troubleshoot, the game said it now needs 130 gigabytes to run. Now I have to use my HDD and it runs like ♥♥♥♥. Has anyone had this problem where the game's size has seemingly doubled over night or a way to solve this? I hope I am just being stupid and there is an easy fix.

Do you have the High resolution textures added in your DLC ?

Uncheck the high resolution texture(s) dlc. I would guess that you don't have the hardware to fully take advantage of it anyway.

HR textures are extra 70+GB

In your game library, right click on Monster Hunter Wild -> properties -> DLC -> uncheck the DLC High Resolution Texture (which is around 73GB)
Thank you all! I can play this game now, big smooch on your mouth <3
