I mean i beat every monster on the first monster hunter with just using gear purchased from npc store and i don't even complain about wild
i cant remember any fo the ps2 monsters, thats the point, im a new blind player. Killing MONSTERS shouldnt be a breeze, no challenge means no feeling of acomplishment
The game difficulty is what you decide ;) . Do not take big stuff, do not use the mount, dont abuse flash pod .... so many choice to increase difficulty.

Well, people like you are the reason they added Alatreon and Fatalis in the manner they did in Iceborne. And I'm not going to sugarcoat it... Elemental DPS checks are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid, and if you're one of the "raw damage" people who were forced to make elemental weapons to pass the elemental dps check, it was an unfun experience. You had NO CHOICE, and it was insanely hard for no reason. Alatreon switching elements mid-fight was always a thing in previous titles, but it NEVER forced you to attack with reckless abandon and forego defensive playstyles before.
Now you don't get a say. Because people who do nothing with their lives except play games whined that "iT wAs ToO eAsY"... well, Capcom gave us all the finger no thanks to the whiners. Did it get completed? Eventually. Was it fun? Not even remotely. And don't even get me started on the Fatalis... Either break the things fast, or suffer. And yes, the BEST way was with Dragon Damage. So the raw damage crowd didn't even get to enjoy themselves again.
Stop whining, play the game. Just because it's accessible, doesn't mean it isn't fun. If you're so concerned with a challenge, take your Hope I weapons out, take off your armour, and go nuts. You have that option.
LOL oof...
