Anyone figure out what the BiS gathering set is?

Currently I've just been using High Rank Leather but I heard 3 piece Chata is good mixed with other pieces for deco slots

Village stuff seems good honestly. Suju is like Botanist 3 in the head slot, Zuzu or whatever is Geologist 3 in the legs, I don't know about set bonuses giving anything good (I think there's one for rare stuff?) but really all you need after this is 1 Botany Jewel, 1 Entomologist Jewel and then an Outdoorsman Jewel and it's probably set.

Maybe Honey Hunter would be good, if it gives you double Eastern Honey from capturing giant vigorwasps and such? I think I saw that skill on some insect armour?

You start with a really solid mixed set. You can get 3 Geologist + 2 Botanist from the moment your character is made. Think it's 2 piece Leather + 3 piece iron/chain? It's the two sets below Hope.

Once you get charm crafting you can make a Geologist/Botanist charm and get 3/3 for both skills. No point in making other sets for gathering imo.

Where are the Gajau boots, im already in HR and i cannot find it anywhere!

You have to catch Gajau. I'm not sure where all they are, but if you go up above the waterfall in the Scarlet Forest you can find some swimming in deep water. I think you have to use the Gajau-specific lure (which you eventually get from doing the fishing quests for the fisher lady in the Scarlet Forest base camp), and then you have to do the minigame when they actually bite.

i've already done that too, unless im too stupid (its probably that) to figure it out. I been looking it up online and nothing pops up.

i like to point out there s also set called Azuz, consist of 3 pieces.

it gives geology 3 and 3 pieces set bonus called imparted wisdom : higher chance to find rare gathering points.

For anyone trying to figure out where the boots are its a requirement to reach HR 23 THEN they'll appear at the smithy
