I dont know why this is even an issue in the big 2025. LET US USE RUMBLE WHEN PLAYING ON OUR CONTROLLERS WIRELESS CAPCOM

This isn't a game-specific issue, it has to do with SteamInput.

I would say it's a game specific issue in the sense that if you disable SteamInput it doesn't work at all.

I don't know of a game on Steam that lets you use the full features of Dualsense wirelessly.

Im not even talking about the haptic feedback or adaptive triggers.... literally the basic rumble feature technology that works in every other game

Yeah it literally is game specific and it blows my mind that they don't let playstation controllers have rumble and that you NEED a 3rd party program to get it to work ds4 windows, for anyone curious, it works, at least.

Cyberpunk 2077, Space Marine 2 does for me. Wireless and full haptics including trigger resistance.

Right click the game, go to properties, go to controller. Under the Steam Input box, select "Disabled"

Try again. The game has native PS5 controller support and steam is overriding it and treating it as xinput. That's nothing to do with the game.

If that does not fix it, fiddle with controller settings, ideally in Big Picture mode.

Are you connected wireless? Doing this just makes my Dualsense unresponsive.

FF VII Rebirth, Helldivers 2, latest spider-man and more.

It's game specific.
A way to make it work wireless in MH, tho without HD rumble/ haptic feedback (but adaptive triggers work) is using dsx

Hmm, that sounds to me like you've messed up a driver install somewhere. Start the game in big picture mode, and also check controller options in Steam to make sure the PS controller driver is enabled.

Beyond that I'm not sure as the haptics and rumble are working for me here.

Because haptic feedback is audio-based and requires the controller's audio device to be exposed to the connected PC, it is not supported over Bluetooth. Some games will fall back to regular rumble instead of having no rumble when the controller is connected via Bluetooth.

Just to confirm. haptics and rumble are working for you wirelessly with no additional 3rd party program?

Sorry, but how this helps in enabling Rumble on wireless in this game? Can you be a more specific?
