No cover from Jin Dahaad?
What are you supposed to do when Jin Dahaad does his Heat Attack but there is no Ice Block to use as Cover?

These comments just go to show that people don't listen to the tutorials that play in game; or they have their Palico turned off, or something.

The first time that you die to it; either Palico or the Handler says "You can pull those rocks down off the ceiling to protect yourself from the blast"

What if there are NO ice blocks pull down?

teleport back to the tent

Die

If farcaster doesn't work maybe nothing, I always save 2 blocks for each room in that fight because he can destroy fallen blocks pretty easily.

go way outside of ring, there s a path, hide behind the ice rock. you ll get hit but you ll survive. barely tho.

It took me a bit to figure this out too because I could never have time to actually read the tutorial pop up it gives you while dodging whatever he's doing.

There's ice fragments floating in the air and you have to pull them down with your grappling hook (weapon must be put away too i believe) and then hide behind them once they're in the ground.
I face tanked it with a potion and hiding by a wall but was pretty much still line of sight, just as far back as I could be.
The tutorial popped up for it after I fainted lol

the very first time i hid behind a wall but i still get hit and die lol but i didnt chug potion cuz i thought walls are solid but thats not the case
He's asking about when there are are no ice blocks left. If you preemptively drop them, he can destroy the mounds.

With enough defense, you can tank the hit. I dont need to even on tempered jin, it hurts quite a bit, but it doesnt kill.

If he had a support ally on, he could have seen where they'd go to avoid it. As they seem to be all knowing on that front. I've had them on for the fight before. They know immediately where to go and what to do for that part.

Ranged characters have less defense. And they might find it hard to tank the hit even with their gear maxed out.
