HDR looks awful

is it me or the HDR looks static with almost zero highlights?
Was at Night in the the camp with fire torches, the torches had zero pop. and yes i know how to do the settings for HDR. if you already seen GOOD hdr in games YOU know this looks garbage. i was looking for Monster Hunter Wilds HDR content on YouTube to check if its on me, but no it looked garbage aswell watched it on my IPhone 15 Pro Max to double check it. (by the way i found barely any HDR content for this game on youtube) this tells you something.

only if u dont set it up properly i assume. did u enable it in windows as well?

Fiddled with mine a bit, colors are popping beautifully, but its default settings are atrocious.

i set everything up with correct settings, the game has not good hdr at all.

im surprised u were able to capture hdr in a screenshot, usually it looks like what people experience ingame when its not working properly, even though it still looks good ingame. like the capture tool cant handle hdr

because 99 out of a 100 times people on steam dont know u need to enable hdr in windows for it to function

Looks just like it does in my game. My friend was watching my stream and he said it didn't look that way. So I took a photo and he was like "How did you make it look like that?" annoying fiddling is how lol.

i wish i could see it as HDR, but unfortunately Steam dosen't support HDR Screenshots.
