i am already bored of this game, does it get better?
30 hours in and i feel i already did everything the game has to offer, i already know how to use every single weapon i played world 3k hours on ps4 plus another 500 here on pc, the game doesnt even feel like a six generation mh, its literally just world but its somehow even less punishing than that game.

does the game get more interesting in the endgame? i am already at hr and i think i already killed every single monster in the game, the only one left is gore magala but i killed that guy a bajillion times in rise and gu so its a nothing burger to me, the title updates is also another problem.... mizutsune and zinogre? for real? again?!!

can someone please tell me if the game gets very fun/engaging/challenging at the very endgame? also is the endgame fun at all? as far as i could see the artian weapon system makes every single other weapon in the game obsolete, like there is absolutely no reason to grind for normal monster materials outside of the armour set (that by the way only requires you to kill the monster 1 or 2 times to create most of it and also beta and alpha armours dont even look different)

i dont know what else to say.... this is literally the only interesting videogame coming out this year, gta 6 is a console exclusive and is probably going to be yet another 30 hour game for the ludicrous price of 100 dollars so like whatever im so done with videogames... i just cant enjoy them anymore nothing interesting comes out is just like hollywood, remake of a remake, same franchise getting another movie for the bajillion time, nothing is new or interesting, and dont even mention indie games, they are all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rogelikes metroidvanias or literally just streamer bait like dead company or whatever is called...

i think i will just play fu, drop it after 20 hours like i allways do and just go back to my limbo of boredom... have a nice day i guess.

I'm in the same boat. Im pretty mad. This game has been extremely dumbed down and watered down. I remember the days of monster hunter being on game boy and even PSP and the learning curve was very steep and the game was unforgiving but it was SO much better. Trying to grind for those decorations and get those skills! Now I dont even fill like its needed you had to get because it was so hard. Now I dont even need them. Someone new has no clue what it all means and they arent forced to learn. 2 days in and Im done with it. Its sick.

blame the "MH wAs NeVeR hArD/MH wAs AlWaYs EaSy" tourists and all those players who complain that they got no more time to grind. If you don't have time to play grindy games just play other games.

Hold on, if you have 3,500 hours in World then why are you asking this question about Wilds? The answer should be obvious to you or anyone with that many hours in a Monster Hunter game.

When you finished World, what kept you playing that for another 3000+ hours? Why didn't you just stop because World only had so much content to do, just like Wilds.

You make zero sense, OP. You sound burnt out on MH games. Play something else for a while.

About your diatribe about video games being boring or terrible these days: if you can't find a single thing interesting out there to play, then that's a 100% 'you' problem; and it also makes any complaints about this one in particular irrelevant. Even if MH Wilds was the most boring game on the planet, Nobody should trust you to be the one to make that argument in good faith. Go find a new hobby if you're so tired of modern gaming.
The same thing was said with Rise
It will be said again in the future.

I just wish there was maybe a hardcore mode where it was closer to the way it was. You had to upgrade everything, grind for the best decorations, eat a meal every fight, just for a chance to survive. This stuff here you just click something on the make with a way point and your mount auto rushes to it is insane.

When was that a thing

Hardcore mode wasnt a thing. It was just alot different when it originally came out on gameboy. It was always only on gameboy and not on PC or consoles at all. This goes back many many years.
When I get bored of a game, I move on. I don't create threads to try and get randos on the internet to convince me to keep playing. You do you, though...

Yep, you're done with games.
So far it's a letdown for me too, Capcom needs to rework the game badly

.... It started on the playstation and adapted to the nintendo systems. MH was never, ever, a hard game. It was designed to be a fun gameplay experience and your difficulty came from gear choices. Correct ones? No damage and strong opposition to the monsters. Wrong ones? You died/carted.

Wilds was intentionally made easier based on data analytics from world showing where people got stuck and or less interested in continuing. So they made it more accessible and more difficult things will come later. The first of which, is in April.

I wouldn't even say it's easier, just that they tweaked the difficulty curve to help newer players get in. I'm in high rank and things have been exactly as I expect from high rank, except for frenzied monsters, which are entirely too easy for some reason

Edit: That was embarrassing, I tried to spoiler text like discord lol
