Everyone saying Alma is less annoying than the Handler is a damn liar

World's handler was pretty much ruining every single cutscenes she was in by just opening her mouth (whether it was for eating or talking).
Alma is miles better, sure she's following us around but I barely notice her honestly, doesn't act or speak like an anime character either.

Only thing she did once was pushing me away from an ore node preventing me from looting it.

... Alma is ruining gameplay by being present too close to "danger" and just blocking view

I would take handler making bad quotes anyday than alma

She's better from a character perspective than the old handler, but the difference is being a 4 out of 10 vs a 3. Still not exactly great.

Now when it comes to gameplay and the fact that you can't leave her at camp, well.. yeah, there's that.

For me the fact that she moves so much in the camp automatically makes her more annoying than handler that just sits all day eating stuff. I don't care about their dialogue anyway.

Nah she's okay.

Handler looked stupid, sounded stupid, said stupid stuff, had these cliche over-animated movements japanese love to overuse, and did the stupidest things you could imagine everytime she appeared in a cutscene, like get attacked for no reason for the hundredth time.

Alma is just... there. Not overly talkative, not doing anything relevant, more tame, more mature, I barely notice her, and that's all I ever asked.


The random kid got annoying quick though, I wanted to punch a hole through the screen when he started throwing rocks at a monster during a stealth mission. Luckily I started skipping every cinematic around that point so now he's alright because I don't see him
