No farm? How to get mass god bugs? Mandragora?

How to get materials? I know the different villages have traders in them but those are unreliable and spread all over the place.

You get multiple npc shop / delivery options at end game, and a single place to access all villagers trade options

If you do the side quests in the various regions you unlock npcs that will forage for you. You can talk to Nata to access every single one of these auto-collection sources (as well as the trading menus) in a single place. These start to become available by the end of Low Rank. They will gather more than just one thing you ask them for so you really don't have to worry about micromanaging all of the different npcs.
