How use the fkg jewels ?

I'm trying to put them by using forge , on the equipement menu , storage ...
But i can only use "remove jewel" ... wtf am i doing wrong ?

U either dont have access to them yet and need to get a higher hunter rank or equipment that can actually equip them if you can because your equipment has slots u go to equipment in your tent then if your using controller press right on your dpad to access the decorarions

Its in the camp, the entire UI in the game is horrible.

you equip your decorations by going to your equipment, and then for some godforsaken reason, you have press right on the D-pad to open the decorations menu, now you can slot in your deco's.

if you're using a gamepad, when changing equipment, go press right d-pad, there you can attach decoration

The game does at least have a tutorial popup explaining how to do it, but it still caught me out by not being in a separate menu.

Hum but wich RC do i need before being allowed to use them ?
I'm actually RC6 and should be able to use them but when i try to put some it says "you have no jewels" ... yeah dude i have no jewels attached but i've got at least 20 in my chest.
And yeah i have slots for them in my stuff ...

- goto either the forge lady or your tent.
- goto "change equipment"
- push right on dpad

horrible UI.

Almost as frustrating as "X invites you for a meal" and when you fast travel there the time of day advances and they no longer wanna give you food lol.

Some of the design decisions are beyond moronic. (e.g. why does my quest lady like to wander off so i have to hunt her down every time to start a mission)

mhwi have 2 sepaeate jewel for armor and weapon, so if you only have jewel for armor, you cant put it in weapon

Ah okay i got it ... wow it's trash AF . (maybe it's easier on controler)
Why use the normal way to put jewels when you can use a new cancer and stupid system ?
