Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds

Statistiche:
Be honest - what does MH:Wilds have over MH:World?
I played World a lot and I loved it, but optimization issues aside from Wilds I haven't really felt the pull to buy Wilds that much. So for those that have played Wilds for a while...

How would you compare the two? Where does Wilds shine in comparison to the latter? Where does World shine over Wilds?

I can cook eggs on my videocard when I play it.
I'm a semi-casual Monster Hunter player, and here's my list so far:

Pros:

- More fluid gameplay
- Improved movement mechanics
- Auto-navigation to desired destinations
- Enhanced character customization options
- More stylized armor designs

Cons:

- Requires a powerful PC (luckily, I have one)
- Significant crashing issues
The only thing wilds has over world are some of the combat mechanics. All other aspects are either neutral or downgrades.
Wilds has quite a few innovations that I would miss if I went back to World; just like I couldn't go back to prior titles after World.

Messaggio originale di RahKiel:
More unique monsters, new moveset, rebalance weapon systems, wounds system (like it or not), better armory (no more near identical iron/bone weapons), layered armor from HR armor, quicker pace across the board, confusing UI and multiplayer system.

If you fear that there won't be enough content or anything compared to World + Iceborne, best is to wait for some time to see how it'll be going. The fundamentals doesn't change, it's more of it, with changes, a lot better, some worst.
Not dying a single time to any monster and killing them in less than 10 mins for every monster literally negates every innovative mechanic they have added. None of it means anything because you don't even need to utilize any of it because I can just aim and button spam without being punished for it. Any other title you can't just button mash and if you miss an important hit you needed its going to cost you. Don't give me the "they will add it later" BS either, do we pay 70$ for games that will add stuff later at a premium dlc price?

"not dying a single time" is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol, get into HR and shut up, i carted once in low rank because i got greedy, carted way more in high rank against apex monsters because they actually pose a threat to you, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ need to stop using low rank as a example of difficulty.

And also, if you played monster hunter before, every other game will be easy, the game is only truly hard part of it, is the first time you play a MH and when you reach the endgame content.

"WORLD IS SO EASY" then we have kulve taroth, kulve, safijiiva, Rajang, velkhana, alatreon and fatalis.
"RISE IS SO EASY" then we have malzeno, the variant and apex monster, Chaotic and risen gore magala.
"WILDS IS EASY" Then you get to arkveld, gore, Jin dahhad and Nu udra, all of them which carted me and made me fail missions, and this is at high rank, if you are a bad player you will fail, and if you play bad you will get punished for it.

The focus mode suddenly doesnt fix the issue that every MH does which is bad positioning and overcommiting, retarded MH fans can cope and seethe but the game is as hard as all MH games aka not that hard, Old games are hard because of how clunky and limited they were
It has crossplay which is awesome
Better story if you care about story in Mh game.
And a more fun move-set on some weapons.
And a pretty active online because its new.

Everything else is worse in my opinion.
Locations are not as beautiful or as memorable exploring them also feels less rewarding.
Most monsters are way to easy and not fun to fight and die way too fast and are way to easy to stun lock using various mehanicks if you use a Shield weapon you can straight up just block everything even stuff that would be unblockable if this was world.

Hopefully TU1 will add more challenging fights.

World was my first monster Hunter and I think it has ruined the series for me in that I learned how to fight the monsters... Hit the monster, dodge the attack, hit the monster, dodge the attack, monster gets concussed, big hit, repeat until monster is dead. Are there variations on how to approach this... Sure, but this is the game in a nutshell. I had the same problem with Rise. End game: kill monsters until you get rare drops get OP gear to kill monster faster. I played this game already the monsters just look different.
Combat.
I really miss the immersive feel of World though.
IMO it's a lot easier to just pick up and play because World has some weird tediousness to it at times that even for me, a vet, stands out. I feel better picking up a game like 4U or P34rd or in some ways even FU because it's so easy to just jump right into a hunt. The cutcscenes and characters are also far more interesting (iceborne bettered this though, talking about base World).

I don't care what Asmon says this looks like a washed out mess to me. Hard pass.
I thought it as well, but after changing some hdr settings, both on nvidia panel and in game, it now looks very good and not washed out at all.
better performance, crossplay, my wife alma
