Monster Hunter Wilds

Be honest - what does MH:Wilds have over MH:World?
I played World a lot and I loved it, but optimization issues aside from Wilds I haven't really felt the pull to buy Wilds that much. So for those that have played Wilds for a while...

How would you compare the two? Where does Wilds shine in comparison to the latter? Where does World shine over Wilds?

Character movement feels a lot nicer in Wilds. e.g. Swinging a greatsword around is actually likely to hit the enemy now. That's the main difference. A few new attack moves but they stole Wyvernsnipe from me and I now have crippling depression.
No clutch claw and a more varied roster.

Which completely removed the satisfaction of landing a TCS

New Palico outfits, that's the only reason you need.

No clutch claw, better story, better graphics, more realistic environments, streamlined mechanics, better weapon movesets, better slinger ammo, and most importantly, no clutch claw.

Did I mention no clutch claw?

Wilds is too easy, nothing fun about just beating monsters with no skill involved.

More varied roster? No, where are all the monsters at? Your new game should have better than the last and this does not do that.

Monster Hunter World is my favourite game of All Time (yes even better than MHGU). MH Wilds still needs the End Game dlc. But, now if we talk about what Wilds done better. I can give you One perfect thing that No Other Monster Hunter did.

Monster Hunter Wilds has NO GIMMICK missions where you carry damn Balls to Canons. As I replay all own titles of MH every year, the Gimmick Missions is the thing I really hate.

the gameplay is 100 times better

the only bad thing of wilds is performance and the "downgrade" of graphics due to the fog
Monster variety and Weapon+armor design variety but thats about it. MHWorld had better music, town hubs, player housing exisiting. Still enjoying it tho

No Monster Hunter game is HARD. Not to mention, Rise was too damn easy before DLC. Same with World, same with Generations, same with Tri on Wii. Relax, tougher fights will come.

Currently I can't rank this Monster Hunter as it needs G/Master Rank. Low/High rank always was piece of cake. Even End Game ranks become piece of cake when you get a nice build

More unique monsters, new moveset, rebalance weapon systems, wounds system (like it or not), better armory (no more near identical iron/bone weapons), layered armor from HR armor, quicker pace across the board, confusing UI and multiplayer system.

If you fear that there won't be enough content or anything compared to World + Iceborne, best is to wait for some time to see how it'll be going. The fundamentals doesn't change, it's more of it, with changes, a lot better, some worst.

I don't care what Asmon says this looks like a washed out mess to me. Hard pass.

They always do this every game, especially when it's on a new engine/platform. They may not reuse the same old models. When they do, you end up with janky-looking monsters that just don't fit too well like what they did in the 3DS games.

Reduce brightness in the settings. The difference is night and day.
