Tranq bombs ?

Does anyone knows if its possible to directy buy em from a vendor ? Its so annoying and tedious to farm as theres almost no sleep herbs in the later parts of the game

They are really easy to get if you use the map filters. Do not try to find them manually. Use the filter, mark it on the map, and make the chocobo take you there.

Later you will be able to send NPC to get materials for you, but the amount you will get is really low.

easy to get but in very small quantities and only in the first 2 maps, btw when in the game can I send the NPCS gathering ? I just finished xu wu

when you get into high rank you can take up some side quests and start unlocking the NPCS in each of the area's total of 5 NPC's

Oi, 90% of the fun of it is the insane level of getting lost you can do when you search for something XD Especiel them shrooms you need for them tranq's

You cannot buy them from the normal merchant. Crafting them is annoying.

It's basically what Nata does once you've finished the story (which you're not too far off by the sound of things).

Yeah some hunt materials are too abundant and some, like sleep herbs and parashrooms, are a huge pain to get enough of

why can we buy tranq ammo but not tranq bombs? i really don't like how tedious tranq bombs can be to get in this game. it seems like they forgot to add them to the basic supply merchant. it doesn't make sense not to sell it with how many capture requests they have baked into the game as main or side missions.

Not all bowguns can use tranq bombs and it annoys me.

Once you get gatherers, you're set for life. Set them all to sleep herbs, go into the tent, use the rest function 2-3 times and boom, you got ~100 sleep herbs.

They won't let us straight up buy that stuff until the expansion, and then only in specific circumstances. Hopefully we get farming back. My advice for the current situation? Make a charm with Rank 3 Botany. It gives you 50% - 100% more yield, depending on what you're gathering.
