Game won't start??
Um ok... I was playing the game just fine yesterday and today there is some huge update with no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ patch notes and now the game won't launch at all... How the ♥♥♥♥ yall break a working game with a patch? What kind of amateur hour ♥♥♥♥ is this Capcom?!?!

I hope I can still return this game after 6 hours of play time but I dunno.

I tried verifying game files and uninstalled the ultra high resolution texture pack. Still nothing.

Ok so i had the start menu loop this morning heres how i fixed it. Back up your save folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[Your Steam ID]\2246340" save this folder elsewhere you will need it later then delete the folder from steam. Turn off steam cloud save in the properties tab for the game. Start the game go through the beginning setup till you see the hunter creation page. Task manager close the game. Paste your old save back and replace the steam save folder. This seemed to get it to load again for me.

Just saying what worked for me as a full reinstall of the game didn't. It seems there was some kind of save read error introduced with the patch. This just makes the game reinitialize with no prior save generate new data and then after reload your save. Also after loading your old save again steam cloud can be turned back on.
