Is monster hunter always this easy?
I came from souls game and Its too easy tbh

I still enjoy Wilds for now.. to a degree. But defeating high rank and even tempered monsters within 5-10 minutes without me even trying and the monsters keep getting staggered without using Focus mode mechanics and stuffs is killing my enjoyment fast. The feat of defeating monster this quick should come with strategic planning and/or min-maxing builds, but somehow you can just upgrade your weapon to hit harder (and it only takes like 2 or 3 hunts at maximum) and you can mow down monsters just swinging weapons around without the need to carefully aim your attacks (since you can just reposition or cancel your moves now), and hunters are now equipped with so many super moves and parry and everything that it feels like a power creep. It’s not Monster Hunter anymore it’s just Monster Slaughter.

This is definitely the "yellow paint" monster hunter from what I've seen so far; but I haven't played it yet so I can't say too much I suppose.

I went into Rise with hundreds of hours in World previously and the bear at the beginning of the game kicked my ass. Not this time though. Part of the reason is probably that the mechanics and gameplay feel are very similar between World and Wilds. So if you were good before, then you'll get the hang quickly. If you abuse the new weapon moves, then all the more.

the first 5-6 monsters are like harmless. Even MH Rise starting ones can manage to kill you if you dont watch

There are a lot of morons who think they are still bad, so they get super surprised that things get easier now that they have experience with the series.

Monster hunter is the only game i have ever seen where people will be like "I did not get better, this just got to easy!"

Or they're cheating, not even an hour after release I saw people in 5 star tempered quests in the lobby I was in. Noped right out of there to online single player. Unfortunately if I want to finish hunts faster I have to deal with them in others SoS while farming for rare parts or do it solo which lets be real, it isn't as fun solo as you don't get a breather to heal or think in some fights without other people for the monsters to target. Is it easier than previous entries? Yeah a bit, I beat a rathalos (5 star 5 difficulty) solo in low rank guardian rath armor with a HR quematrice GL but the armor was sphered to 40 defense so basically HR armor. It's not piss easy like Rise though, those wirebug skills were broken as hell.

If you hear a game journalist say a game is easy, that means it's laughably easy.
