# Current Driver Development
- Several issues related to the driver package were resolved during development.
- A generic device ID has been added for the AMDGPU family section to address issues caused by Windows Server unexpectedly changing the device ID
- The GPU Toolbox now automatically detects the installed driver version to prevent accidental overwriting during import/export operations.
- Querying GPU Toolbox presets is now twice as fast, thanks to the implementation of an indexing mode.
- More than 6,000 device IDs have been registered since the AMD 24.4.1–25.1.1 development cycle.
- The missing AMD BDCode display, which had been removed since version 24.7.1, has now been reintroduced.
- An error loop that occurred when opening the GPU Toolbox if the Radeon ID driver was not detected has been fixed.
- The GPU container has been updated for systems with switchable GPUs running Windows 11 24H2 or Windows Server 2025.
- The missing GPU container issue has been fixed for users running Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022.
- Fixed system freezing issues that occurred when MSI Afterburner attempted to overclock GPUs for running AMD GCN 1/2/3 Kernel versions 2109 or 2110.
- Resolved color corruption problems on Windows 10 version 1909 or later when using certain AMD SoCs, such as Kabini, Temash, and Kaveri.
- Resolved dx11 corruption issues on Ryzen Vega APU's on latest kernel such as 2320 or 2330
Except you're missing the main problem. I'm one of the users having problems with a RX 580 card, and yet besides the flickering textures, the game runs at 70+FPS with no drops, all other textures look perfect, and my VRAM usage is barely at 50%
The card has more then enough power to run the game, it's just not optimized well.
Mmmmmmmmmmm this thread sounds familiar. It explain why it crashes.. the Directx12.1....
It seems our only options are:
-Using Linux
-Play with flickering textures
-Buy a new graphics card
seems they have rebranded? according to this post https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1fvqnnf/what_happend_to_amernime_zone_custom_drivers/
https://rdn-id.com/#features
they are third party and can potentially be harmful so before u try backup and remove sensitive data
People tried that yesterday when the newest version came out and it doesn't seem to fix it
