Wyvernsnipe - Does it exist in Wilds?
As per the title. I see you can swap out Wyvernheart for Wyvernpiece but hopefully Wyvernsnipe still exists on other weapons.

There's a good candidate for that ability, I think its the Lalabirina but unsure if it has it, only two I've seen so far are the mortar and machine gun variants.

If the game doesn't have it, it should add it.

there is no wyvernsnipe
There are variants you can change: (heavy bowgun)
-cluster mortar,
-Machine gun
-Slow piercing ball
-Blast

Just started with high rank missions, Still no Wyvernsnipe :(
HBG is not a good weapon anymore D tier

Oh. That weak cluster attack. Yeah that did not seem good when I tried it out.

they took a ♥♥♥♥ on hbg. no wyvernsnipe, no recoil control which makes spread absolute ass, less ammo capacity in one trip (cant carry lower level ammo with you, especially hurts sticky) and harder to get supplys to craft ammo since the botanist from worlds is in nerfed version if you wish to use elemental ammo/sticky. at least the machine gun and infinite basic ammo is decent i guess but overall not great

HBG is amazing in wilds, recoil is perfectly fine and is just free movement you can use to maneuver
HBG is currently listed as one of 3 s tier weapons.

Wyvernsnipe has been changed to an equivalent that fires lots of wyvernsnipe-like ammo in ignition mode. I don't remember the name but, it's pretty similar to wyvernsnipe you just get multiple now.

Essentially, the HBG boils down to "does this one have good stats and skills for normal ammo" and if not, throw it in the garbage. Pierce is trash on over 60% of the monsters just because of their size and speed, and spread is trash because recoil can't be fixed.

He specifically noted recoil with spread, and he's correct to do so. In World and Rise, spread gun builds that dampen the recoil absolutely dominate, especially with HBG. Now, no matter what gun you use, spread stops you in your tracks. Not only does it slow down shot time, it makes you vulnerable, and furthermore but more opinionated, it just don't feel as good as run and gun.

So here's your normal ammo, the only viable way to play these guns lol

I loved using Wyvernsnipe in World, it was so satisfying to use. I really hate to see it gone, Wyverpiercer simply does not hit hard as the same :(
why did they get rid of wyvernsnipe?? that was like the main reason I was going to play hbg in wilds because I loved it in world.
One thing i wana mention as i noticed A MAJORITY OF THE PLAYERBASE gets confused. your ignition attacks arent hard-set per weapon! you can freely swap between the primary and secondary functions without zero limits

Theres always a chance if the playerbase asks enough it could get added back

D tier?
Ignition recovery 3 gets you your ignition mode back in like 20-30 seconds. That's a lot of damage output at a long range and if you use your wound attack while in this mode, you charge it for double the damage output. You can also shoot at wounds through the monster. Wound on the tail? You on the face? Shoot through the face to the tail, the crosshair will indicate when it is over a wound.

I quite like my HBG, not my main weapon, but definitely not what I'd consider "D tier" by any means.
