Is it difficult?
Now that the turbo nerds are past low-rank which obviously i expect to be for toddlers, how's the game past that?

To understand where i'm coming from i only played Rise/Sunbreak and had lots of fun but it felt like a fun little challenge at best most of the time.

No controllers where thrown or desks punched in the 300h i spent there.

I didnt play Rise alot but atleast from the controls i think its better already
from the Hunt difficulty i would say also easyy enough especially if you keep on top of the upgrades
easier than World for sure

Its easy, I imagine they're going to add difficult fights months later with events. I wouldn't have bought if I knew endgame was just about farming easy fights.
most difficult fights are tempered arkveld/gormagala and i beat tempered arkveld after 19.5 hours so no game is insanely easy

It's easy.

im one of the "turbo nerds" who finished all quests already, its much easier then rise.
there is maybe one fight that you can fail, thats a gimmick boss in high rank, all normal monsters are sadly no challenge.
No, game is pretty easy. The boss's moveset is more varied than MHW at least, but I think this game essentially you are playing with max HP boost decos innately.

Like previous monster hunters. Low rank is low - then higher is harder untill you gear high gear. But there are some hard encounters and they want to add smh harder than Tempered.
But.. after those thousands hours in previous games - it's also easier due to "we are better". i have noticed that im barely hit by any monster and im not sure. it's due to mechanics, delayed attacks or it's just me better. For veteran i guess every MH will be easier and easier every hunt. It's still just high-rank which always was "easier". Very much easier than Master ranks but... you know.

That first foray into high rank from low rank is always fun. Not at all surprised Kut Ku got a faint on me.

Low Rank is insanely easy but it gets tougher in High Rank. Not hard though other than maybe Arkveld and Jin Dahaad. (Tempered Arkveld IMO is the hardest fight in the game though and got 2 feints on me the first time I fought him.)

game dosent have that much content its just released how can you compare games that years in the market already

i spend 50 hours and done with everything that is enough and very good if you compare new games as single player/coop

It’s about the same as rise. If you liked rise you will probably like this.

You have to keep in mind that there is no master rank and that a lot of people’s first monster hunter was world. They struggled in world because they didn’t know how to play the game yet. But monster hunters “dance” so to speak cannot really be unlearned. They will never have an experience like the struggle of world’s low and high rank again. Ever. Instead of realizing that they assume monster hunter is just easier now. The reality is world was about the same as rise is about the same as wilds.

Granted world had a much more difficult master rank than rise did, but that isn’t the conversation. High rank and low rank are about the same in all 3.
you can keep using the first hope armor set all the way through, then in HR upgrade to the HR version of the hope set. that's what I did. only got new gear at the very end. it's not too difficult. tho I have to say, gore magala got me a couple of times 'cause he just one-shot me with just about every attack lol.

Rise was the easiest game in the series. Idk if I'd call this difficult. The QoL improvements are huge. No wirebug crutch, no crutch-claw. Great game imo.
