I will post the same test in the same area with 2160p resolution tomorrow.

A tad worrying how 5090 can't handle 1440p.

Peak performance optimisation right here,...

But honestly, games start to regress in looks but are more demanding.

I feel recently the bigger companies have gone the route of just rushing out product without any care in the world.

Remember this post when people say, "It runs fine for me" lol.
"Just upgrade your rig bro" :mhwhelp:
Horrible frametime
Are the posters next door going to mention bottlenecks or skip this one?
the optimisation sucks, cpu bottlenecks.

In the top left you can see the GPU utilization basically never goes above the low 90% mark. That's indicative of a CPU bottleneck, even with the best gaming CPU on the market.

Not sure what's going on with the frametimes, but when I did my testing on my system(5800X3D + 4070 Ti), it was impossible to get a flat line. There were consistent frametime spikes of several ms, so at least on my system, it's impossible to get a smooth framerate, even when standing still.

Didn't matter what settings I used by the way. I cranked everything down to minimum aside from resolution and DLSS, and got the same behavior. Frame Gen on/off didn't change it either.

Check the digital foundry video on youtube if you haven't seen it already. I'm sure there will be more in-depth testing into this game considering how hilariously bad the optimisation is.

Glad it could be useful, I did it because many players want to buy a 5080 or 5090 for this game and other future games but as you can see even the best hardware available is not enough for this game if you want to play at high refresh rate lol. Here's hoping Capcom will improve the performances in future patches because there is definitely something wrong with the game.

Yeah 4090 is still a beast and not far from 5090 but this game doesn't seem to care if you have a top of the line GPU.
