MH Wilds Crashing my PC

I'm absolutely loving this game so far... when I can play it. However, it's completely crashing my PC to blackscreen and full restart. I've literally just upgraded my whole setup too, and no other game has caused such issues. GF has the same set-up as me and has no problems, but I'm lucky to get through a hunt without it freezing and resetting my PC.

I think I'm gonna put it down for a bit until they optimise the game, because right now it is, and I hate to use this phrase, literally unplayable as-is.

I solved this by going to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Edit Plan Settings (on whichever one you want to use) > Change advanced power settings > Processor power management > change Min and Max processor state to 99%

Since doing this, I've had no crashes at all and no stuttering either. It seems like it was absolutely a CPU issue, so until they fix it on their side this is a workaround that's let me play the game consistently.

holy cow how did u get a 6070. nvdia already abandon the 50 series and u got that insider info?

Are you on the 25.2.1 drivers?

I was, yes.
I backrolled the driver and now im trying to get through the shader cache with the old driver to see if it works.

If that doesnt work ill look into de- installing my gpu drivers then install the the new optional driver and try again.

Im getting tired of this. The game was running perfectly this saturday.

What is the crash error code? Check your crash log. Do you have xmp enabled? Have you tested your RAM stability with xmp enabled?

Before reaching high rank, my PC would crash as well but only every 2-3 hours or so.. I reach high rank and the game crashes constantly, there's no point in playing because it crashes as I'm about to finish a hunt. Really hope they can fix this quick. My CPU and GPU temps seem to be fine before the crash so I'm not sure what it could be either

Did the PC blue screen when it crashed? Usually has a stop code near the bottom when that happens, event viewer might show some info you look to see if a log was saved to your minidump folder

Also using the pbo2 tuner do undervolt my cpu curve

I have the same issue.

BUT it crashes ONLY, when i join someone for a Quest.
And it laggs.
i dont know.

have 4090 GPU
64 GB RAM

so wtf?
Yesterday i played it with friends the whole time. No Problems.
But now, it is lagging afff and i cant go to my friend to do quests together.

No blue screen just capcoms crash tool right after the logos. Or lets say before the games loads you into the main menu.

In the event viewer the exception code is always
0xc000005

i just got through the shader pre-caching without a crash for the first time! after the logos... it crashed again
