They already openly said they are not focusing as much on Elder Dragons unlike World. They diluted the the "value" of elders too much in world as it was.
so you're telling me they're not gonna focus on hard hunts in a game where there is nothing else to do in the post game?

Dude, the game just came out... :steamfacepalm:
What's your point? MH ONE on PS2 had a Elder Dragon lol. :mhwno:
My point? My point is exactly what I said, the game just came out and honestly it has a lot of Monsters to hunt and various versions of them as your HR rises.
In regard to Elder Dragons, in other games (and lore) they influence the weather around them. This game's story has an entirely different weather mechanical structure that would make Elder Dragons existence in this region entirely moot. But hey, I guess Gore Magala is just fluff, Arkveld is a little kitten and Zoh Shia is just refuse...ok, sure.

cool but some of us actually liked fighting the elder dragons. will be espercially disapointed if capcom some how fumbled and forgot to add Shagaru Magala.

i also wanted to at least see valstrax and dalamadar in high definition graphics.
also elder dragons are suppose to usually have four legs and two wings. it's to make them more alien and otherworldly.
That's why they have 4 legs and 2 wings and not just because they're...dragons?
Imagine being this much of a tourist, and getting an attitude about it.
Elder dragons being rare is what makes them special. World and rise had the issue of giving us a elder dragon bargain sale, making them not feel special at all.

which also made the games more replayable cause they had more variety in the endgame

In rise they were just another hunt, nothing really special about them, in world they had a bit more impact, but once you got them down they got farmed just like any other monster.

yes but you had like 5-6 different monsters to farm in base world endgame and in Wilds you have uh Arkvelt and uh Arkvelt and uh tempered Arkvelt. . .

No, sadly, probably in future Expansions. Maybe we're gonna get Arch Tempered White Fatalis? who knows.

i'd kill for a full rendered dalmadur with jin in this game they could pull it off.
There are none at the moment. The game wanted to take primary focus off of Elder Dragons, since that was what world was ENTIRELY about, and Rise's endgame was nothing but. If it's anything like other titles, we'll see some Elder Dragons added as events later on.
Elder dragons are a washed out idea anyways. Tempered monsters are much more unique of an idea.

I think Jin Dahaad and Zoh Shia are Elder Dragons, Pitful and Shock trap literally did not trigger whenever either of them were on top of the traps
Sometimes we get super large monsters that aren't Elder Dragons and aren't capturable. e.g. Akantor, Ukanlos, Jin Dahaad .... and on a technicality, Ahtal-Ka (the technicality being that she isn't huge, but her junk-mecha is).

As for Zoh Shia though... that thing is basically just Xenojiiva 2: Energy Boogaloo.

The story going to expand into Shagaru Magala. So that is the only Elder Dragon going to be coming back at Wild.

Maybe we could get to see more Elder Dragon again in the expansion. Their unique mechanic is what make them standout.

ya and world had nergigante teostra vall xeno and a bunch of others at launch.
World was about elders, about they moving to new World from old and about nerg who already lives in new world wtf wrong with you
why do you play games if you don't listen to what they're talking about, teostra and kushala literally was in every MH
why do you think they will let them through
and apex predators are elders because arch-tempered can be only elders
