Been looking for other fixes and I recognized the error code. This person on Reddit has a potential fix for this crash:

  4. Type regedit in Windows search and run it as an administrator.
  5. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Control -> GraphicsDrivers.
  6. Right-click in the right panel in the ‘blank space’ and Select New In Windows Registry.
  7. Select DWORD (32-bit) Value and name the file TdrLevel.

Hope this helps. It's not been my crash so I can't test it myself sadly, but this looks like the same error message so I hope it will work for you.
I randomely get this and I suspect the framegen causing it. When I don't use framegen i don't get that crash.

Yes, got same problem after patch, can't even start the game.
Tried various stuff like restart PC, update driver, run as admin, delete shader...etc, nothing work.
If you are running Windows 11, try disabling core isolation and bypassing TPM. I had 2 days failing to launch until I tried this and now the game actually boots up.
nothing works bro i have tried everything under the sun it all just crashes the game instead of us going into the registry or changing the config setting or doing anything other then download the game how about the developers just MAKE A GAME THAT WORKS ON ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC FOR ONCE YOUR ONLY TRIPLE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ A.

Is your GPU overclocked?
You might wanna lower those clocks if it is.

Sadly doesnt help.. like Wukong works, Elden Ring works, Diablo 4 works, minecraft etc. works.. I cant understand it.. like why there isnt a clean launch.. do I have to study this so I can play.. I just want to turn on my pc and get into the game.. :(

I have been trying to fix it for the last 2 days and I still can't play for more than 15-20 mins before a crash.
i have had the exact same issue. i have scoured everything on the internet to find a fix yet NOTHING works. IT is straight up the fault of Capcom for not optimizing the game well enough and no fault on our end

i had the same error crash like every 1-2 hours putting -force-d3d11 in the steam start options fixed it for me never had the error again

My game ran fine for about ten hours and now got this error twice when trying to do a hunt. I'll try the fixes in that reddit post and the start settings and see if it helps!

I'm experiencing crashing among other issues such as terrain/environment missing and floating npc's. I've tried all the recommendations in the capcom trouble shooting guide (lower settings, drivers, admin etc), keep looking for new threads with more info. Looks like we're all in the same boat, hopefully an update soon. Been so excited for this game to come out and want to catch up to my friends lol
Same error,...
I've been having similar issues (6 crashes in my first 8 hours) running the game with a Zyzen 7 7700 and a Radeon RX 7700 XT

I found these article helpful (https://clawsomegamer.com/monster-hunter-wilds-fatal-d3d-error-fix/, https://clawsomegamer.com/monster-hunter-wilds-crash-fix-pc/) though not all these solutions worked for me. I tried increasing my virtual memory and reducing my GPU voltage to 80% and I experienced no crashes and minimal slow-down or stuttering. I'd try forcing DirectX 11 in your launch options as that worked better for than forcing D3D.

I don't know if this is a complete fix but its a definite improvement.

It's f*king annoying. I (would) play on Rog Ally and quite runs it well with medium options. But these crashes...
First day I found the best options but I couldn't play much.
2.nd day it crashed every time. I found a video on youtube how to solve it.
Finally it worked.
3.rd day it crashed again. Previous methods didn't work. I reinstalled it, and after some options it worked again (I turned off frame gen, and back on after I finished with the main quest) and I played ~6 hours (!) without crash.
I thought it will be good from now, I came home after a long workday.... aha... it crashes every time after 1 f*ing minute.... of course, nothing previous works.....
(Edit: I reinstalled it since than, frame gen off, Crashreport pack removed.... what yesterdays' solution is not todays' solution.... tell me that nobody works against this intentionally....)
I've read other capcom games also has this crash message and they doesn't intend to fix it (still an issue with resident evil, dragons dogma 2...)
