Great gameplay, tons of fun.
But horrible optimization.
You ever played worlds, I'd recommend that before this, its just all around better.

No

I think the skillsets and QoL changes are very much fun. Most mixed reviews are about graphical performance. I guess I'd recommend picking it up on console if you struggled with different games before.

if you enjoyed monster hunter worlds and can run this id say go for it. People will claim worlds is better, and it feels that way in the start, but this game is better imo once u start getting to certain monsters, the monsters have much better move sets and diversity in Wilds compared to Worlds, With that being said, Worlds is a complete game where they have endgame monsters, and this game is probably 2-3years away from being completely done, but will or should have semi regular new monster releases every few months like worlds did
if you got a decent PC yes! if not i'd wait for optimization patches

I don't think explaining this is worth it in the passive agreesive tone established.

But yes, accessibility has gone up for noobs like me, and the autopilot on mount plus gathering on slingshot is very comfy. Squad play makes it easy to create lobby for friends without having to set passwords everytime. You see what's added to wishlist in questscreen / monster icons, can save investigations from map, etc.

Great game, terrible optimization and having to pay real money just to re-edit my character sucks.
If you're willing to look past both of these, do it, you'll have lots of fun. If not, definitely wait.

tell me you have not touched the Bowguns without telling me
Buy World, looks and runs better. Wait 2 years for Capcom to fix this garbage, it doesn't run well even with modern hardware.
If you dont have the best possible PC on the market then no, dont buy the game. Wait for hotfixes or patches for optimization.

To be fair, the meal system is a huge QOL upgrade, and palico being an all round fighter (healer/buffer/cannon etc etc) is a QOL for non lobby fights. the mount can also be seen as a QOL, and the blacksmith giving reccomended item unlocks helps new players im guessing (i havent really looked at them, but id assume its okay)
