But horrible optimization.
if you don't: NO
What Qol, you sure your playing the right game.
But yes, accessibility has gone up for noobs like me, and the autopilot on mount plus gathering on slingshot is very comfy. Squad play makes it easy to create lobby for friends without having to set passwords everytime. You see what's added to wishlist in questscreen / monster icons, can save investigations from map, etc.
If you're willing to look past both of these, do it, you'll have lots of fun. If not, definitely wait.
To be fair, the meal system is a huge QOL upgrade, and palico being an all round fighter (healer/buffer/cannon etc etc) is a QOL for non lobby fights. the mount can also be seen as a QOL, and the blacksmith giving reccomended item unlocks helps new players im guessing (i havent really looked at them, but id assume its okay)
