Got softlocked by crashes

I got up to the part where they activated the forge and theres fire everywhere, had to slap some fire apes and then an oil fire octopus appeared. Then the game crashed after the octopus cut scene. I tried to continue playing but the game crashes as soon as I try to start my file. Any solutions for this? My pc meets the recommended settings.

Same here! Game is unplayable. Literally crashing every time I fight Black Flame at Oilwell Basin. I have 5600x and rx7800xt

Same here. My quest says to prepare or something as "Optional" and the main quest is search for the Black Flame, but I can't see any markers or find this Black Flame.

U have to find the guy at Oilwell Basin, but once you fight that thing, the game crashes on you.

try locking your frames during that scene, the game runs super bad during that time.

and its not the monster causing it its the state the map is in that causes the issue.

once you're past that fight and scene you can turn your frames back up
