GUIDE : How to properly lock a game to 30 fps
It's a sad world we live in, and there's been a lot of optimized messes lately. Games relying on DLSS and framegen to even feel playable, and then even though the frame rate is high, the game will stutter like crazy and the FPS will be all over the place, leaving the game feeling incredibly inconsistent. So I've been trying to just force myself to get used to a consistent lower framerate, so at least the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ playable.

Anyways, here's some gameplay of me using my RTX 3080 @ 1440p, at the highest settings. Max ray tracing, no DLSS, no framegen, and no major stutters. It's only 30 fps, but at least it looks good, and isn't jumping between 70 to 30 every 2 seconds, giving me eye cancer.

Anyone wanting to try something similar, to get a smoother experience. Using RivaTuner, set scanline sync to x/2 (half the refresh rate), change the value to 1 and then change your monitors refresh rate to 60hz. Then turn on V-Sync in game.
