Monster Hunter Wilds startup stuck in black screen

I was running it fine the day before. When I launched it today, it just gets stuck at a black screen, furthermore I can't seem to stop the game on steam with it stuck at STOPPING after force closing the game. Any fix for this?

try deleting the crash folder and also deleting shaders cache maybe it will help.

Have the same problem, but only with my amd radeon 6700xt. I tried a ton of solutions including:
update driver
delete crash folder, crash.dll, crash.exe
delete shader cache
Admin mode
firewall whitelist
Factory reset graphics drivers
Try to change config file (but the config file is nearly empty since the game hasn't ever been launched successfully)
So far, nothing has worked. My laptop with 4090 seems to work just fine though, strangely enough.
