News flash, your type of gamer is despised by the majority for ruining most multiplayer games. Good luck trying to boot people out, my money is on you getting booted.
Nah, dad gamers are the unskilled people who use I got a life as a excuse to be bad at games or not willing to grind. Plenty of older dad gamers made time and manage time better and still was able to be good at games.
The dad gamers of today use I don't got time as a excuse to waste everyone time in video games when they join your team.
Even if the game ran well. That is one of MANY problems this game has. The core system of this game is bad, and this feels like a story driven game not a monster hunter game.
There is no such thing as a gaming "addict", compulsive behavior maybe, but no addiction, you'll never have withdrawal symptoms by not playing a game.
Like all things it depends.
If you are grouping with other players. It is respectful to at least be decent enough to understand your class, have a ok build and want to make the goal easier instead of harder.
In a single player game by yourself who cares?
My point was this, This slop we get as games, that is so brain dead easy that we have a mobile auto run now to the monster because for some reason developers think we don't even have time for that. Has lead to one of the worse monster hunters ever.
Shoehorning certain people into the term "Dad gamer" is a pretty stupid thing to do for no good reason, there are many dads and other people with limited time that kick ass despite limited time, whereas there are people with more time on their hands who need the immediate dopamine rush of instant gratification. It's these people who seek instant gratification that certain companies seek to take advantage of.
Also, how pathetic do you have to be to start gate keeping and, as you say, "dog piling" on people. People like you are the reason that people who play games are treated with contempt. Gate-keeping accomplishes nothing other than making you look like an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
You don't have to use the auto run if you don't want to, outside of the few story missions you are free to move where ever you want. You would know this if you actually played the game, but you don't and are just ignorant.
The dad gamers I am talking about are the ones that use I have a life as a excuse for these types of games. It is not for the dad gamer who enjoys grindy games who gets better and manage time.
We all know the type of person i am talking about.
The fact that it is in the game enough to irk me because the game was balanced around it in mind.
I could do the fights naked also for it to be harder but guess what? That does not fix the foundation or core issue of the game.
