Potential Performance Boost w/ RTX 30 Series
I saw a YouTube video earlier today by Glitch Unlimited that spoke about the optimization issues and also provided a potential performance boost utilizing 2 mods. I've been running with an i9-10900k and a 3090 with 64GB RAM and only getting 25-45fps at 1080p (even at lowest settings). That's just unacceptable. But I've had good luck with the mods so I'm sharing in case it helps someone else.

Glitch Unlimited has a guide in his video, but I've written the instructions below.

Mods are downloaded through Nexus, so you will need a free account in order to be able to download. Also, it's mods. User experience will vary and you mod at your own risk blah blah blah. The mod adds AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation to games by replacing Nvidia DLSS-G Frame Generation (allowing Frame Generation without having a 40 series card).

RE Framework[www.nexusmods.com]

dlssg-to-fsr3[www.nexusmods.com] (Pick the Universal file)

>Download both mods and unpack them into their own separate folders
>Right-click game in Library>Manage>Browse Local Files (we're going to copy the mods to this folder)
>Copy dinput8.dll from the RE Framework to your MHWilds folder (root)
>Copy dlssg_to_fsr3_amd_is_better.dll and version.dll from the dll_version folder to the MHWilds root as well
>Make sure Windows Graphic Setting for Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling is turned "On"
>Load Game
>Disable V-sync (you can re-enable v-sync through the NVIDIA control panel if you experience crazy tearing)
>Turn on DLSS
>Turn on Frame Generation
(if you have issues, remove the 3 mod files from the directory and wait for Capcom to fix it themselves)

I've got reasonable results with this, generally staying 55fps and up with all graphics settings set to the max with Hi-res textures on my 3090. Best of luck.

P.S. for Capcom
Love the game so far for its game play. The campaign and optimization, not so much. I'm beating a dead horse about optimization, but I genuinely had a split experience my first day with the game. The performance issues coupled with the campaign constantly taking my controls away and forcing me to look at things in an inorganic way really sullied the day I looked forward to for so long. Also, connecting with my friends to play with them should not be so difficult, especially ones on the same platform. I'm looking forward to seeing this game earning its $70 price tag.

Crazy a 3090 is getting 55fps
Or just force DLSS 4.0 in the Nvidia app and skip all that unnecessary BS

I'll have to give this a shot and see how it compares
