Crafting Fire Charm II in post chapter 4 is impossible.

In order to craft Fire Charm II players need the following Materials:

1500z
Ajarakan Scale x2
Ajarakan Jewel x1
Kranodath Skull x2
Firestone x1

The problem is, those are not + items. If you lack any of those before entering chapter 4, e.g. as Kranodath Skull, you will now get Kranodath Skull+ which is not the same! 😄😄👌👌

Either they need to allow downcraft + items to non plus items, or allow higher tier components in low tier recipes. But until they fix this, i cannot produce most of the Charm tier II.

Can't you just do an optional quest for a low-rank Ajarakan and gather materials there? There should be an optional quest for every monster you fought during the story (besides the last two, I think?)

Did it work for you? I still got the Kranodath Skull+ from carving the monsters during the quest.

Just do low-rank optional quests. Easy.
