Random Crashes to Desktop

So, I'm pretty irate. I just killed the oil basin main boss after a hard fight. As I am in the rewards screen, BAM! All went black and the game crashed to desktop. Getting back into the game, it didn't save it so I have to fight that bastard again.

Anyone else have crash to desktop at inconvenient times? Let's hear your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story so I can feel better knowing I'm not alone! D:

I can't even fight the damn thing. Game crashes every 5 mins.

31 crashes in 7 hours so far... getting close to the end of the story.. but man does it make it hard.

Seems to be extremely common.. also with no culprit. Happens at any time.. anywhere.

Also have no had crashes in any game in years.. so something is up. Pretty standard hardware as well.. 4090.. 12900ks .. ect

stuck at chapter 2 after beating rey dau, at cutscene always crash

Yea I have no idea... was good all day on release, played for 8 to 10 hours with no issue. Next day, Crashed for first time and now its happening more frequently. RTX4060-TI 16GB version. D:

I get random crashes here and there. For me it seems to be if a bit too much is onscreen at once. For example, first time we went out in the thunderstorm in the plains area I looked at Wind's Gasp or whatever it's called in the distance as we left base camp. Boom, crash.

Another one during fire monkey fight later, and one fighting random enemy in the water forest area in high rank. A few others too but those are the ones that stuck out to me. Not super often but my gosh it is annoying when it does happen.

You can try to open the exe. data, not with steam button, u should open it with admin rights and Disable fullscreen optimizations, this fix my weird crashes, i hope it works for you
