Stop being misogynistic. It's no wonder you have trouble with women.
I just wish Alma would stop following me or smtn
Oh, you're one of THOSE people...
The teams are compromised of a hunter (player, olivia), palico (player, arthos), scholar (alma, keith) and a crafter (gemma, werner). There are obviously more teams but the game focuses on 2. Having good relations with the tribes they encounter is the logical thing to do. This is also a series were you very often play as the hunter for some remote tribal village.
If you want human conflict this isnt the series for it.
The game makes it very clear that they are EXPLORERS and the hunters are just a small part of it. Not military, not some extermination force. Its amazing how many people dont get it.
Hate him if you want but Keith is not some political statement, he is actually a very common trope in jrpg´s. (Not saying this is a jrpg but the characters work on jrpg logic)
I think you're playing wrong
The tribe people are probably the most entertaining thing story wise in any monster hunter game imo since they are like smart and dumb creatures who seem clueless but aren't (like the one being webbed up)
"Oh no this monster which is part of the local ecosystem is ruining the local ecosystem by carrying out its natural lifecycle. We, the all knowledgeable humans who are not part of the local ecosystem must fix this... by killing things!"
Repeat.
