Meal timer

So simple question, do meal buff timers still countdown when not playing the game?

no its just in game time. also hold LB or L1 depending on your controller to see time remaining in top left corner

When in camps. No. You can see your meal timer in top left after pressing I believe right button

I got the big 1-hour meal from the story and closed it, and when I went back long after it was still there.
